Typography is the visual component of written words. It is the colors, sizes and fonts that can make the difference between how a poster is read and should be read. It focuses on legibility and readability.

CoreFitness

A magazine displaying health coach Megan Levesque. She is a holistic fitness enthusiast, and this article describes her as a health coach, a gym junkie and healthy chef. Magazine layout was designed using Adobe InDesign, with an interactive PDF. Photos were shot using a Canon Rebel t5 and some stock photos were used from Herbalife.

I <3 Burpees!

A trifold brochure that has a die-cut on the front panel illustrating the importance of the most hated exercise burpees. It also breaks down each muscle that is being used along with a guide on how to do a proper burpee.

Firework Type Treatment

A poster illustrating handwritten type along with computer generated type. I chose the song Firework by Katy Perry and illustrated the word Firework using sparklers. I set my Canon Rebel t5 on a tripod at night with a shutter speed of 30 seconds and wrote out the word Firework with a lit sparkler. The rest of the lyrics were generated in Adobe Illustrator.

Miscellaneous

Various posters featuring different type sets such as a Victorian Broadside style of type or Psychedelic.
